Whether your definition of summer for kicking back and relaxing by the pool or beach, or making the most of your free time by staying active and exploring, Balesin has the best of both worlds this summer for the family with San Miguel Balesin Sports Camps.

An all-inclusive 5-day/4-night package in one of Balesin’s well-appointed villas, roundtrip airfare to and from Balesin, and breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family of 4 (an additional 5th person is possible), the Sports Camps gives both parents and the kids the ultimate summer getaway. Kids aged 8 to 18 years old will be trained by an all-star roster of expert coaches and instructors for basketball, tennis, baseball, and soccer, and also have plenty of other recreational activities to choose from after their sports camp session for the day—they can try horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boarding, wall climbing, and many more activities available in Balesin Island. While the parents will be treated to a Day of Total Wellness package worth Php 25,000 each at Aegle Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art health hub led by Integrative Medicine pioneers Dr. Benedict Valdecañas and Dr. Ruby Magpantay. The wellness package includes comprehensive blood chemistry workups, physician and nutritionist consultations, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, intravenous therapy, thalassotherapy (offered exclusively at Aegle – Balesin), and of course, massage treatments.

Under Camp Director and International Professional Tennis Registry Coach Marty Ilagan, the coaches will use modern and scientific approaches to athletics, and incorporate character-forming lessons in their programs to help kids become champions in sports and in life.

Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) legends Vince Hizon, Alvin Patrimonio, Johnny Abarrientos, and Willie Miller, plus Jr. NBA Coach Louie Gonzalez will man the basketball camp, while the tennis camp will be led by national team coaches PJ Tierro, Niño Alcantara, Roland Kraut, Karl Santamaria, and Dennis Sta. Cruz.

National Mustang and Bronco coaches Eric Gesmundo and Jhoel Palanog, along with the 2018 University Athletic Association of the Philippines’ (UAAP) Most Valuable Player and star pitcher Kiko Gesmundo, will teach baseball.

The kids can try horseback riding, kayaking, paddle boarding, wall climbing, and many more activities available in Balesin Island.

Meanwhile, soccer camp instructors will include former Davao Aguilas Football Club head coach Melchor Anzures, and former national team players Loy Fuentebella, “Mr. Football” Elmer Bedia, and LA Bedia.

San Miguel Corporation, one of the Philippines’ major conglomerates, owns the country’s largest and most diversified food company San Miguel Food and Beverage, Inc., and will provide the sports camp participants with household favorites, such as Purefoods breakfast staples and snacks, Magnolia Free Range fresh chicken, fresh brown eggs, fresh milk, fruit drinks, and Magnolia Ice cream to beat the heat.

All of these for package rate of Php 160,000 + VAT—a whopping 50% off from the package inclusions’ standard price of Php 320,000 + VAT. Registration is ongoing at Sign up before you miss your chance to discover and experience the unique Balesin with your family.

The San Miguel Balesin Summer Sports Camps is also sponsored by Under Armour Southeast Asia, Tri-Factor, and Blackbox Audio Systems.
