Whether you’re working out or spotting on your crush, a sudden adrenaline rush makes you blush.

Achieve this perfect flush of color on your cheeks with NARS Orgasm, a cult product that works wonders on practically every skin tone. NARS founder Francois Nars created this universally-flattering product in 1999, with a perfect dose and mix of colors to warm up the skin to create that perfect flush.

Orgasm is a peachy pink blush with subtle golden shimmer. The right mix of pink, orange, and yellow tones animates the skin, and the fine shimmer gives the cheeks a radiant, rosy afterglow—the reason why it’s dubbed as the “best blush” worldwide, with two pieces sold every minute.  Its sheer texture makes it easy to apply and build up the color without having to worry if it’s too chalky, stark, or glittery.

This year, NARS is launching its super-sized limited edition Orgasm blush and a campaign featuring Italian model Mariacarla Boscono. How to apply the blush the right way? International makeup artist Jonathan Wu shares, when applying blush, sweep some color across your nose to make it look more natural. If you’re not a fan of shimmer, pat translucent powder on top to tone down the shine.

NARS Orgasm also comes in a cream formula (Orgasm The Multiple). To use, swipe the color on the hollows of your cheeks and blend upwards towards the temples in circular motion using your fingers.

What makes Orgasm so memorable? According to Francois Nars, “I would have to say the versatility of the color, the sheerness of the texture, and the name! I want to give products a character and an identity.  I want people to remember the names and you can’t forget this one.  I never anticipated its success. Looking back, I think the combination of the name and the shade made it so popular. I actually first created the name, then the shade—I wanted something shocking.”

Go ahead, blush and tell! #WhatMakesYouBlush?

NARS Orgasm is available at Rustan’s Department Stores and NARS Bonifacio Central Square.
