Welcome the Chinese New Year with a huge helping of Chinese treats and a wardrobe full of auspicious pieces. Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila is ushering in the Year of the Fire Monkey with La Prospérité Chinoise fashion show, a showcase of fashion masterpieces by renowned designer Albert Andrada, complimented by a Chinese feast courtesy of Spiral.

From 7 pm on February 3, 2016 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, the pieces from Andrada’s La Prospérité Chinoise collection will walk down the grand stairs of the hotel’s lobby. Andrada’s third show at the Sofitel floor, the La Prospérité Chinoise collection showcases Andrada’s colorful travels around the globe and highlights jewel tones and grandiose designs.

After the show, guests will be treated to Spiral’s Chinese culinary artisan Chef Michael Tai’s 10 Secrets to Happiness—a culinary interpretation of prosperity, longevity, friends, faith and fortune. Traditional Chinese dishes like dim sums and seafood are given an interesting twist to excite the palate and inspire an auspicious year.
