Red Jade at The Manila Hotel welcomes the Year of the Fire Horse with a dining experience that blends flavors, heritage, and modern culinary flair. Must-try dishes on the à la carte menu include Imperial Peking Duck, Lapu-Lapu in Truffle Sauce, Scallops with Duck Liver in Foie Gras Sauce, and Shrimps with Almond Flakes. Dim Sum lovers can savor beloved classics such as Har Gao, Ham Sui Kok, Xiao Long Bao, and Pork and Shrimp Sio Mai. Just in time for the Lunar New Year, Red Jade also unveils new creations, including Sea Bass Dumpling, Deep Fried Suahe Beijing Style, Braised Sea Bass and Turnip Cake with Morel Mushroom in Black Truffle Sauce, and Glutinous Rice Roll with Red Bean Paste, among others.

No Chinese New Year celebration is complete without tikoy. Red Jade’s tikoy offerings are available in Red Bean and Almond flavors and priced at P1,288 per box.

Vegetarian diners are equally well catered to with Red Jade’s Vegetarian Set Menu. Highlights include Vegetarian Peking Duck, Dong Pao Tofu, Vegetarian Hot and Sour Soup, Mushroom Fortune Bao, and Chilled Coconut Jelly with Avocado.

For intimate gatherings, Red Jade offers private dining rooms accommodating groups of up to 30 guests.

At The Peninsula Manila, the arrival of the Year of the Horse is welcomed with energy, warmth, and time-honored customs.

The Peninsula Dragon and Lion Dance returns to The Lobby in a vibrant display of color, movement, and sound on February 17 at 9:45 am. Rooted in centuries-old tradition, the dance is believed to invite prosperity, with the lion’s eye dotting said to awaken good luck for the year ahead.

Toss high for good fortune at The Lobby, Escolta and The Peninsula Boutique from February 16 to March 1. Celebrate Chinese New Year with time-honored traditions and festive flavors, from the lively lo hei prosperity toss at The Lobby to abundant buffet feasts at Escolta and sweet seasonal creations from The Peninsula Boutique.

The Lo Hei Platter is at P6,888 for four persons, while the Chinese Delicacy Set is at 2,388 per person.

At Escolta, the Daily Lunch and Dinner Buffet is at P3,590 per adult and P1,795 per child age 11 and below, while the Sunday Brunch Buffet is at P4,500 per adult and P2,250 per child age 11 and below.

Perfect for family gatherings and group get-togethers, Dragon Court’s Family Feast offers a selection of Chinese favorites designed for four guests at P4,788 net. This set menu features signature dishes such as Prince Hot and Sour Soup, a dim sum medley of Hakaw, Sio Mai, Xiao Long Bao, and Polonchay Dumpling, Deep Fried Prawns with Almond Flakes, Fried Fish Fillet in Sweet and Sour Sauce, Braised Pork Belly, Stir-Fried Beef with Broccoli in Oyster Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken, Braised Seafood Birthday Noodles, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Chilled Almond Bean Curd with assorted fruits, Fried Sesame Ball, Hot Almond Cream with Glutinous Rice Ball, and Mango Tapioca Pudding.

For dim sum lovers, Dragon Court also introduces its Unlimited Dim Sum Basket, a two-hour feast of handcrafted specialties. Available daily during lunch at a special rate of P999 net per person, the Basket includes Xiao Long Bao, Shrimp and Pork Sio Mai with Crab Roe, Shrimp Hakaw, Polonchay Dumpling, Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce, and more. Diners may enjoy unlimited refills of the selection within the two-hour dining period.

Diners may add P99 net per person for an unlimited serving of steamed rice and a one-time serving of Hot Almond Cream with Glutinous Rice Ball.

Dragon Court also brings the warmth of hot pot to the table with its build-your-own hot pot experience, featuring individual stations, and deal for groups of 10 or more. Three sets are available: the Classic Setat P749 net per person for a satisfying essentials option, the Regular Set at P888 net per person for added variety, and the Premium Set at P1,088 net per person for a more indulgent experience. Each hot pot dining experience is enjoyed for up to two hours, and a complimentary fruit platter is served to cap off every meal.
