Vera Wang opens in Manila

Every bride-to-be dreams of her own fairytale princess moment and, of course, the perfect wedding dress. Vera Wang, iconic fashion designer and fairy godmother to the world’s A-list, shares her magic and opens her first Vera Wang Bride boutique in Manila.
Now, brides-to-be don’t have to fly to Hong Kong to find their dream gown. Plus, alteration services are free!
The 170-sqm contemporary-designed boutique is located at 8 Rockwell, Rockwell Center, Makati. The store will also carry evening wear and accessories.

This gown was hand sewn with 700 pieces of ostrich feathers. Perhaps, something for the unconventional bride?
The strapless drop waist lace and tulle ball gown (left) was made for Kate Hudson’s character, Liv, in the 2009 film Bride Wars.
Speaking of Bride Wars, which one do you like better, Ivanka Trump’s Grace Kelly-inspired ‘Esther’ lace wedding dress (left) or Chelsea Clinton’s ‘Diana’ strapless, laser-cut organza gown (right)? Coincidentally, both wore Vera Wang on their wedding day!
