Two icons from Cebu united for an evening of artistry, elegance, and shared creative vision, as fine jewelry brand DiaGold and celebrated fashion designer Cary Santiago presented a 50-piece collection couture gala at Shangri-La The Fort last Sept. 20.
“This is more than a fashion show,” said Jennifer Ty, DiaGold chief executive officer. “It is a moment that honors the artistry of Cary Santiago, celebrates DiaGold’s design legacy, and redefines what it means to champion Filipino luxury.”
DiaGold unveiled a new jewelry collection created exclusively for the show, headlined by its latest masterpiece: Crown Jewels, with rubies in crimson, sapphires in deep royal blue, emeralds in green, and yellow diamonds that glisten with light. Each piece commanded attention, exuding drama, power, and a sense of royalty.
The boldness of DiaGold’s vision found its counterpart in Cary Santiago’s couture collection, marking his first solo show in Manila in a decade. Known for his mastery of sculptural design, Santiago drew inspiration from animalia and plumage, reinterpreting wings, feathers, patterns, and movement through his soft sculpture technique.
